Isolation Exercises

Any exercise that works a single muscle through a single joint action.

For example; the bicep curl, which works just the bicep muscle with movement only at the elbow joint.

Examples include;

  • Bicep Curls - Dumbell or Barbell

  • Lateral Raises

  • Rear Shoulder Flyes

  • Chest Flyes

  • Skull Crushers

  • Leg Extensions
