Unilateral Exercise

Any exercise that works one side of the body independent from the other side.

Examples include;

  • Single arm bicep curls
  • Split stance lunges
  • Pistol squats
  • Single arm bench or shoulder press



Refers to the increased visual prominence of veins in the body as body fat decreases. 


Whey Protein

A powdered form of protein made from whey, a liquid substance created as a by-product of cheese production.

It is considered a complete protein source as it includes all 9 essential amino acids and is probably the most common form of protein powder used in protein shakes.
